Kennedy Creek Superior View, Silver Bay
The pick if you want privacy and the view. The cabin sits on 12 acres bordered by state land, with panoramic Lake Superior views from the deck and main living spaces. After a day on the trails, there's a private sauna and a fire pit to wind down. Two bedrooms and two full bathrooms sleep up to 6, with a king in the primary bedroom, four beds upstairs and a sleeper sofa in the loft. Trail Shack, Beaver Bay
The pick for active trips. Trail Shack is on 4.5 private acres on West Road with direct access to local ATV and snowmobile trails, and it's steps from the Gitchi-Gami State Trail for biking and walking. Lake Superior is just across Highway 61. It's a small, comfortable three-bedroom, one-bath home that sleeps 6, with a modern kitchen, in-unit laundry for muddy gear, a barrel sauna and an outdoor fire pit.

White Rock, Beaver Bay
The pick for a bigger group. White Rock sleeps 8 across three bedrooms plus a bunk bed, with two full bathrooms. The deck looks out toward Lake Superior, the backyard has a fire pit and grill, and the game room with shuffleboard is a good plan for a rainy afternoon. The listing puts it about 11 minutes from Tettegouche State Park and 13 minutes from Gooseberry Falls State Park.

Tips for a North Shore Trip With Your Dog
- State parks: Minnesota state parks generally allow leashed pets on trails, and a vehicle permit is required to park inside the parks. Check the Minnesota DNR page for each park before you go.
- Yards: None of these listings describe a fenced yard. If that matters for your dog, ask me before booking.
- Cliffs and water: Overlooks like Shovel Point and Palisade Head have steep cliff edges, and Lake Superior stays cold all year, so keep dogs close near the edge.
