The gourmet kitchen has a large island and dining table, plus a second kitchenette, mini fridge and ice maker, which helps when several families are cooking in shifts. There's a private living room, a laptop-friendly workspace and 1 gig mesh WiFi for anyone who needs to check in with work.
The game room is where the kids (and plenty of adults) end up: arcade machines, video games, life-size games, board games, books and toys. Families with little ones will find a high chair, pack 'n play, baby gate and children's dinnerware already there.
On the Lake
This is a true lakefront property, with private shoreline, a huge yard, a large deck and a lakeside fire pit. The sauna has lake views, so you can warm up and watch the water at the same time. Outdoor dining and seating, a grill, and a two-car garage round it out.
Things to Do From Tofte
Tofte sits in the middle of the North Shore, close to Lutsen Mountains, Temperance River State Park, the Superior Hiking Trail and the paved Gitchi-Gami State Trail. Winter brings skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling; summer and fall are for hiking, biking, kayaking and fall color drives.
